CASE IN POINT, HE DID HAVE A LION IN HIS POCKET, AND YES, IT WAS READY TO ROAR

Okay, so once again I've been leaving this blog to sit here and languish un-posted. There's a reason for that, which is that once again I've been expending more of my energy and focus on making stuff in my mad-artist workshop than on blogging about the stuff that I'm making. That will have to change soon, because sooner than you might think, I will have stuff ready for public digestion, and it would be good if people were to, like, umm... know about it.

Case in point: I now have 7 episodes of Harry Stumpt, No-Nonsense Detective (new working title) in the can. That's amazing to me, although what's more amazing is that I find it amazing at all, seeing as I was once in the practice of churning out about a page per day, back in the heady Xeno's Arrow days of 1998-2001. (More on XA later.)  Anyway, it's back-on-the horse time with comics and that makes me very happy. So the plan is to launch the weekly HS strip on September 10, which is also the week of my birthday, and then keep 'em coming every Wednesday.

Other projects proceed apace in the meantime.  I've now begun the final-weeding process of converting my massive plot outline for Monkeys With Power Tools into an actual script, which I hope to be finished doing around October (given other time constraints and commitments), and then the real fun begins where I start making actual artwork. More news on that later.

Okay.  That's my time commitment to bloggery for today.  Now I have another page of Stumpt to crank out.  See you all soon.  Here's a preview...
